The stage is set for the next generation of K-pop stars.
SM Entertainment, a trailblazer of the Hallyu Wave, has officially launched its 2025 global audition tour, opening opportunities for aspiring talents worldwide. The auditions are set to take place across Korea, China, Japan, North America, and Canada.
SM Entertainment’s Audition Details
Applicants born between 2005 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality, can register to participate. The global audition tour will kick off in Korea in January, followed by stops in China, Japan, and North America.
Here’s the full audition schedule:
- Korea (January): Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Jeonju, Gwangju, Wonju
- China (February): Chongqing, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai
- Japan (March): Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka
- North America: Los Angeles (May 3), Toronto (May 10)
Pre-registration is currently open for auditions in Korea, China, and Japan via SM Entertainment’s official website. Registration for the North American auditions will begin on March 28, 2025.

Successful candidates will gain access to SM Entertainment’s elite training program and mentorship, offering them the chance to debut as global K-pop stars.
